The GRONE Industrial Plant project introduces a revolutionary technology for municipal waste management, based on a cold physicochemical process.
- Objective: Convert waste into Secondary Solid Fuel (SSF) or High-Quality Compost (HQC).
- Innovation: Unlike traditional waste-to-energy plants, this plant separates the sorting and recycling phases, allowing it to process complex and mixed waste matrices.
- Efficiency: The system boasts an extraordinary energy balance, producing approximately 5,500 kWh of recoverable energy compared to just 125 kWh consumed to treat one ton of waste.
- SUGALO INKA 1: The Solar Giant in Peru
In the Arequipa region (Majes), BBIS CYCLOS is supporting the development of one of the most ambitious photovoltaic parks in the country.
- Capacity: A 140–144 MW plant that will use approximately 195,500 latest-generation photovoltaic modules.
- Energy Impact: Once fully operational, it will produce approximately 440 GWh per year, enough to cover the energy needs of approximately 350,000 families.
- Investment and Jobs: With an estimated capital of approximately $250 million, the project will create over 800 direct jobs, ensuring a clean energy supply for the next 30 years.
- RRSS 2025 Program: Towards a Circular Economy
The integrated RRSS (Solid Waste) program represents a modular platform designed for developing markets that want to move away from landfills.
